The main Pyrenean passes are :

The Soulor pass (1,474m) linking the Aubisque or Ferrières valley to the vallée d’Azun.
(32km from Lourdes) Head for Argelès-Gazost, Aucun, then Arrens-Marsous..

The Tourmalet pass (2, 115 m) from Barèges to la Mongie
(50 km from Lourdes)
Head for Argelès-Gazost, Luz-St-Sauveur, then Barèges until you reach the pass; or on the other slope, Bagnères-de-Bigorre and La Mongie.

The Aspin pass (1,489m) : joins the Campan valley to the Aure valley. (50km from Lourdes) Head for Arcizac-Ez-Angles (D937 and N21), Bagnères de Bigorre, Campan, Ste-Marie de Campan, then La Séoube. It is possible to rejoin Arreau.

The Peyresourde pass (1,569 m) : joins the Louron valley to the Luchon valley. (97km from Lourdes) Head for Adé, take the A64, towards Barthe de Neste (D939 and D929), Sarrancolin, Arreau, D618, Bordères-Louron, Avajan, then Loudenvielle until you reach the pass.

The Aubisque pass (1, 709 m)
Take the N21 towards Argelès-Gazost, then D918 towards Arras-en-Lavedan, Aucun, Arrens Marsous, Col du Soulor, Cirque du Litor until you reach the Aubisque pass. Controlled traffic (closed in the winter, open from May or June depending on snow conditions).
