Lourdes’ Lake and wood

Only three minutes from the town centre, those who enjoy fishing, water sports and nature will find their fulfilment here. Formed from a glacier, this is one of the largest in the Pyrenees (55 hectares).

The coniferous forest is an ideal place to relax or have a picnic. Fishing, sailing, rowing, pedalos, mountain-biking, horse-riding, restaurants. Among undulating valleys and pine forests on the south bank of the lake an 18-hole golf-course has been developed.

The forest where Bernadette gathered dead wood, offers a wide range of marked walks, children’s play areas, an exercise course and even a picnic area.
