“Tropical Aquarium” The marinarium of the Haut Lavedan Museum (18 km from Lourdes)

Created in 1986, this living museum which covers an area of 700m2, is dedicated to tropical fauna from fresh water and sea water.
It is a multicolour extravaganza, in 40 basins of 1 000 to 6 000 litres, totalling almost 40 000 litres of fresh water and sea water.
More than 500 species from the reefs and from tropical fresh water are presented. |
Open all year round :
• Out of school holidays, from 9.30am to noon and from 2 to 6pm. Closed on Sunday morning and Monday.
• During school holidays, everyday from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2 to 6.30pm. July, August everyday from 9.30am to 1pm and from 2 to 7pm.
