Lourdes station

Between April and October, there is significant seasonal activity at Lourdes Station. 1.2 million travellers pass through and almost 700,000 pilgrims come every year. Such numbers require the laying-on of special trains (nearly 1,100) and clockwork organisation, particularly with regards to reception where all site staff are involved. In order to ensure that reception is of the highest quality, Lourdes Station has shopping facilities adapted to the needs of its clientele.

The Pavillion of the Sick :
Since spring 2000, this structure, which has been entirely renovated, enables the sick to be looked after from the moment they leave the train to their transfer to the hospitals and other specialized centres of care.
